1) Select satellite and area of interestAt this time International Weather Archive has imagery from U.S. NOAA GOES East, NOAA GOES West, EUMETSAT Meteosat-7, EUMETSAT Meteosat-9 and JMA MTSAT-1R geostationary weather satellites. This provide global coverage. Select the desired satellite. For most satellites you can select from multiple areas including Full Disk. Select the region of interest. For more information on satellites, see details here. 2) Set your start time and end timesSelect the start and end dates and times of the images you would like view. Following international weather standards, times are in UTC. If you are not familiar with UTC time, see Wikipedia's article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coordinated_Universal_Time Note, that if you have a slow Internet connection, or an older computer, you may have to use a smaller range of dates to get good performance from the satellite viewer. 3) Press

The player controls allow you to play the series of images in a loop. When the viewer is first opened, the earliest image is displayed. To begin the loop, press the "Play" button. You can also play the images backwards in time, and "sweep" backwards and forwards through the images, as well as control the speed at which you view the images.
